In The Bush Quilt

This quilt design was deliberately kept light and creamy with just a few hints of the deep browns, rust, greys and grey green colours which are reminiscent of the huge gum trees that line Australian creeks and rivers.
  These trees are also the home of some of the common Australian animals chosen for this particular quilt.
  A possum, wombat, kookaburra and koala are quilted in each corner stone.
  The wattle flower in the wattle block border go hand in hand with the huge trees of the bush, as wattle is often part of the under storey.
  The quilt is 39 inches square, or 1 metre.
