Secret garden quilt

This quilt was originally designed for a calendar
competition with the theme 'My secret garden'.
Featured in the centre is the coastal banksia which are common in my local area.
Also featured is the flowering gum with its' profusion of flowers ranging from pink to deep red.
These magnificent trees flower in February and attract many birds including parrots.

The natural looking cotton/linen blend fabric used in the blocks helps to give them a native garden feel.
The quilt measures 39 inches or 1metre square.

The central printed block is 12 inch or 30cm square.
The corner printed blocks are 7 inch or 18cm square.
