JUST BLUE WRENS

I was inspired to make this quilt by my friend Roz, a fellow shop owner in the Tyabb Craft Village who trades under the name Jenny Wren and loves anything with a blue wren on it.

There are various species of blue wren found all over Australia, some even bluer than the Superb Blue Wren I've depicted here.      Wrens are generally found where the bush meets open grassland.

The quilt measures 39 inches or 1metre square.

When finished, the central block is printed on a
10.5 inch or 27cm square of white cotton.

The corner blocks of the small blue wren are printed on 6 inch squares or 15 cm of white cotton.
